**Join Our Team as an Inpatient & Outpatient Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** Are you passionate about helping others regain their strength and independence? We are looking for a dynamic Inpatient & Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team! In this exciting role, you will: - Evaluate and assess patients with neurological, burn/wound, or musculoskeletal injuries. - Establish individualized treatment plans and goals based on comprehensive evaluations. - Implement therapy utilizing the latest techniques and equipment for optimal patient recovery. - Educate patients and caregivers about treatment goals and home programs. - Demonstrate proficiency in physical therapy modalities and recommend necessary adaptive equipment. - Re-evaluate patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare team members. - Make modifications to home or work environments for enhanced accessibility. - Contribute to departmental program development and staff training. - Provide thorough documentation of patient care according to established criteria. - Supervise the activities of aides, assistants, and students while fostering a team environment. - Participate in continuous education and departmental meetings. - Communicate effectively with physicians and maintain patient confidentiality. - Promote safety, infection control, and ergonomic practices in the workplace. - Uphold company values while encouraging improvements for efficiency. **Skills and Abilities:** - Competency in basic computer skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to handle confidential situations professionally. - Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment. **Education and Experience Requirements:** - Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Iowa. - Graduate of an APTA accredited program with a certificate, master’s, or doctorate in physical therapy. - Current BCLS certification. **Physical Requirements/Working Environment:** - Sit an average of < 1 hour per workday. - Stand an average of 7-8 hours per workday. - Walk an average of 6-7 hours per workday. - Frequently bend/stoop (20-30 times/day). - Squat several times (20-30 times/day). - Reach above shoulder level frequently (20-30 times/day). - Occasionally lift heavy weights (up to 50 lbs). - Handle awkward weight up to 100+ lbs as needed. - Engage in repetitive actions (fine dexterity) constantly (> 25 times/hour). **Shift Information:** - Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm **Minimum Years of Experience:** - 3 years **Certifications / Requirements:** - BLS/BCLS **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
