Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Inpatient Oncology Unit, requiring GA or compact RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the Inpatient Oncology Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled from 7A-7P
• 3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the oncology specialty required

Additional Information

• Provide medical/surgical nursing care to inpatient oncology patients
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
• Returning perm staff who wish to travel at this facility must have a 2-year break in service
• Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
