Job Summary
Occupational Therapist, Inpatient Miami, Florida. The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, supporting patient evaluations, therapeutic interventions, activities of daily living, functional tasks, and patient and caregiver education. The assignment is scheduled to begin 11/30/2026 and end 03/01/2027.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts; 10-hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Florida physical therapy license; Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation; flexibility and adaptability; willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations; provide therapeutic activities and exercises; support activities of daily living and functional tasks; provide patient, family, and caregiver training and education.
- Clinical Environment: 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with an estimated patient caseload of four patients per therapist per day. Available equipment includes lift equipment, adaptive devices, exercise equipment, and an outdoor training patio. No call requirements.
