Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient float position requiring Level I trauma experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Inpatient case management role with float coverage across units within scope
  • Level I trauma center setting
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 8:00-18:00), including Saturday and Sunday with remaining days negotiable

Requirements

  • Active VA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient case management experience required
  • Previous charge experience required
  • Level I trauma experience required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • BSN preferred
  • Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate's, or BSN accepted)
  • 2 professional references required (supervisor level or above)

  • Float within scope of practice as needed based on facility demand
  • Facility follows a natural nail policy
  • Drug and tobacco free workplace, smoking not permitted on campus
  • Facility conducts background reviews for all candidates
  • Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
  • Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one year before returning as a traveler
  • Modules assigned during orientation via the facility's Learning Exchange, completed by the Friday of orientation week
  • Time off requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to unit manager approval; no time off granted during the first week of assignment
