Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient acute care unit serving adult and pediatric patients, requiring at least 6-12 months of acute care case management experience.

Details

• Inpatient Case Management unit within a Level I Trauma, teaching, children's hospital
• Unit serves both adult and pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:25
• Day shift schedule, 4x10s with Saturday and Sunday shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Uses Cerner and Midas/CarePort charting systems

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM state or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• 6-12 months of acute care case management experience required in a large hospital setting
• Acute inpatient care experience required
• Pending license accepted
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide case management services for adult and pediatric inpatients in an acute care setting
• Must be willing to work with pediatric and women's health patients
• RQI certifications not accepted
• Scrub color is optional black or business casual attire
• COVID vaccine is optional but facility requires reporting of vaccination status or declination
• First-time travelers accepted if they have acute care case management experience
• No local candidates accepted within 100 miles of the facility
• Non-local driver's license required on file
• Time off requests greater than 7 days require approval
• Facility may call off up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment
