Schedule

This position is for a Day shift, working 5 days a week with 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM).

Job Description

The Infusion Center Registered Nurse will provide care to patients with solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, and other complex conditions. Responsibilities include performing bone marrow aspirations, administering chemotherapy, and managing patient care in a busy infusion center environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other IV medications per established protocols.
• Perform bone marrow aspirations and intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer.
• Monitor patients for side effects and manage complications.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and care coordination.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required.
• Previous experience in an infusion center or outpatient oncology setting is mandatory.
• Charge RN experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications are required; ACLS and OCN certifications are preferred.
• Active RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is required.
