Job Summary
Infusion Specialist, Infusion Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized infusion services in a clinical setting, supporting patients with a variety of diagnoses including anemia, autoimmune conditions, and oncology-related illnesses. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with the option for a four-day workweek.
Job Details
- Certifications: CA Licensed RN, BLS, ACLS, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- Education Requirements: Valid California RN license; relevant certifications must be current and uploaded with expiration dates
- Location Requirements: Must hold a California RN license and be in compliance with local submission rules
- Years of Experience: At least 2 years of experience preferred; 0 years minimum required
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, with flexibility for a four-day workweek if preferred
- Additional Qualifications & Skills: Experience with adults, dressing changes, interpretation of laboratory results, intramuscular and intravenous infusions, vital signs, subcutaneous injections, venipuncture/phlebotomy, and oncology procedures
- Responsibilities: Administer biologic therapies, hydration, immunotherapy, injections, and supportive treatments for acute and chronic illnesses in an infusion setting
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload valid licensure and certification documentation, and two references obtained within the last year
