Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified RN Infusion Specialist to join our 65 chair Outpatient Infusion Center. The specialist will provide intravenous treatments to a diverse patient population, focusing on chemotherapy and hazardous drug administration, along with central line care and management.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and hazardous drugs following safety protocols.
- Provide central line care and management.
- Perform implanted port access and blood product administration.
- Conduct peripheral IV placement and monitoring of patient responses.
- Utilize specialized equipment, including Plum IV Pump and CADD Pump.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in infusion nursing.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with chemotherapy administration.
- ONS certification preferred.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is essential.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
