Job Details

- Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related infection prevention experience; 0 years minimum required, but at least 1 year preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Working independently on infection prevention initiatives, following clinical guidelines, and participating in hospital-wide infection control practices.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic health record system, expertise in antimicrobial stewardship, MDROs, CDC guidelines, healthcare-associated infections, and outbreak surveillance.
- Required Experience: 1 year of infection prevention experience, current CIC certification, and the ability to work independently.
- Submission Requirements: Include response to whether the candidate has worked at a healthcare facility affiliated with Providence, with details of location and dates, as well as two references from within the last three years covering at least 6 months each.
- Clinical or Operational Information: The position does not require RN licensure but requires competence in infection prevention tasks in an acute care setting, with no weekend shifts and guaranteed hours, flexible to start as soon as possible.
