Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights This position involves providing advanced patient care within a specialized IMCU setting. The role requires working night shifts with a focus on delivering quality care to a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical, neurological, and cardiovascular cases.
Job Details
- Position involves working on the IMCU with a patient population including diagnosis such as CVA, neuro, and cardiac patients.
- Certifications: Active VA or Compact Nursing License required upon start.
- Education Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Location Requirements: Experience must include recent relevant clinical practice; candidates must demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: 2 years of overall clinical experience required; minimum of 0 years of specialized experience in IMCU.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: Work history with at least 2 years experience, explanation of all work gaps over 90 days, skills checklist, copy of Nursys/license. All requested time off must be included at time of submission.
- Additional Information: Charge experience preferred; Cerner experience preferred; Centra is a teaching hospital, and team members are expected to support and mentor students and new hires. Orientation dates are every other Monday.
