Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position in a travel assignment. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient experience and compliance with hospital standards. The assignment requires at least two years of relevant experience and prior travel experience in a large Level I trauma facility.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification and education requirements include a valid license to practice in the state of assignment or a compact license, with a minimum of two years of experience in a large Level I trauma facility. Candidates must have recent experience with stroke and tracheostomy care. Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Cerner is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-acuity environments, proficient in stroke and trach management.
- Additional Information: This is a travel-only position with an orientation date scheduled for 10/05/2026. Holiday scheduling will be based on unit needs and will be assigned fairly. Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, focus on HCAHPS and patient experience.
