Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit position requiring recent Critical Care/ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Stepdown setting
  • 13-week assignment with possible extension
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
  • Some weekend shifts required
  • Holiday coverage required
  • Minimal to no RTO permitted, especially around holidays

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Minimum one year of recent Critical Care and ICU experience required
  • Skilled in IV starts, lab draws/sample collecting, and titrating critical drips
  • Intermediate FM skill level required
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Driver's license and updated nursing license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Royal blue scrubs required and not provided by facility
  • Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be accepted
  • Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules must be completed pre-start via HealthStream
