Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU / CVICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active RN licensure required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Experience managing adult and geriatric critical care patients
• Strong familiarity with cardiac and medical ICU diagnoses
• Ability to work nights and participate in call coverage
• Comfortable with a 1:2 patient ratio in a fast-paced critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care for critically ill ICU and CVICU patients
• Monitor and manage complex cardiac, respiratory, and medical conditions
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, COPD exacerbation, stroke, trauma, arrhythmias, and post-operative cardiac cases
• Support patients requiring advanced therapies including CRRT and other ICU-level interventions
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the EHR and follow unit protocols
• Float to intermediate care or ED holding when needed based on patient flow
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and a strong commitment to patient safety
