Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Intermediate Care position requiring recent Epic experience and prior IMC unit experience in a hospital setting.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele/IMC float pool position, floating between MS and IMC units
• Patient ratios of 1:4-1:6
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Cares for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum 2 years of experience on an IMC unit in a hospital setting
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Flu shot required, no exceptions
• 2-step PPD test required, no exceptions

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Med/Surg Tele and IMC units as part of a float pool team
• First time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates will not be considered for this position
