Join our team as an IMC Registered Nurse in Hagerstown, MD, for a rewarding contract position in a leading healthcare facility. This role requires a strong background in Med/Surg Tele and IMC, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in a Float Pool setting. As a traveler, you will float between MS units and IMC units, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in various clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients with conditions such as acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 to 1:6.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Tele experience required.
• 2+ years of prior experience on an IMC unit in a hospital setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a hospital setting is necessary.
• Flu shot and a 2-step PPD are required – no exceptions.
• First-time travelers are not accepted; locals are not eligible.
