Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC Night Shift position requiring critical care and telemetry experience with a current OK or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC)/PCU/Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
  • Floating required to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
  • Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

  • Active OK or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of current critical care and telemetry experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Skills in IV therapy, central/arterial line management, and blood product administration
  • Respiratory care experience including ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy care
  • Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response/code team protocols
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
  • Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration
  • Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care for a neurological, psychiatric, and medically complex patient population including seizure disorders and substance withdrawal
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • No local candidates accepted
  • Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
  • Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
  • Previous INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of one year separation from employment to be eligible
  • First-time travelers are not considered for this position
  • Any gaps of three months or more in work history must be explained
