Qualifications:

• Active RN license, with eligibility to practice in Virginia
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in ICU or Stepdown
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications preferred)
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication skills

Professional Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement evidence-based care plans
• Monitor, interpret, and document vital signs and critical changes in patient condition
• Administer complex medications, therapies, and interventions within ICU/Stepdown standards
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families about care processes and ongoing needs
• Participate in rapid response situations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
