Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience and willingness to float across ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg patients.

Details

  • Acuity adaptable Telemetry Unit within a hospital setting
  • Must be willing to work with ICU/IMC and Med/Surg patients
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • 13-week assignment length
  • May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
  • Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care across ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg patient populations as needed
  • Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
  • Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate depending on facility location
  • Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
