Description

American Traveler is hiring a Float RN - ICU for a night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Nursing Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• Float pool assignment within ICU across facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Night shift schedule, 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract length
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (ME or compact) required
• BLS and other applicable AHA certifications required, must be completed prior to start if submitted with non-AHA equivalents
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Float pool role covering ICU needs across MaineHealth facilities as required
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are eligible but not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at time of consideration
