Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Float Pool position requiring GA or compact RN license and prior Level 1 trauma center experience.

Details

  • ICU Float Pool position covering all critical care floors, ER and ER hold, and MTC/Step-Down/PACU for holds as needed
  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
  • Block scheduling not typically approved

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a similarly sized facility
  • Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Level 1 trauma center required
  • Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing support across multiple high-acuity units as part of a float pool
  • Work in a high-intensity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center environment
  • Minimal RTO availability during the assignment
  • Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
