Travel ICU RN

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: Standard ICU 1RN:2 Patients unless higher or lower acuity
• Type of equipment: Standard critical care equipment plus Impella, Hemosphere advance monitoring platform.
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Participative scheduling - minimum 3 weekend shifts per month, block scheduling not guaranteed.
• Floating policy: Must float to other units in the facility as required.  PCU/Medical surgical
• Patient Experience requirements: Nurses explain care and medications, nurses treat with courtesy and respect, call light answered timely.

Hospital Specifics-

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.  CCRN a plus
• Must have: Cardiac critical care experience

Procedures performed on unit:  Intubations, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring
