Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and an active NY RN license.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool covering ICU units including MICU, Neuro, and SICU
• Night shift schedule
• No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• 2 years of recent experience in critical care/ICU required
• AHA or RQI certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference (not a charge nurse) dated within the past year
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Must pass ICU competency testing (2 attempts allowed)

Additional Information

• Float within critical care units as needed based on facility demand
• Medical exemptions only accepted for flu vaccine; personal or religious declinations not accepted
• No local candidates accepted who reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
