Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool unit covering ICU areas including MICU, Neuro, and SICU
• Day shift schedule
• No blocked scheduling allowed

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Competency testing required for ICU units with 2 attempts to pass

Additional Information

• Float pool role supporting multiple critical care units as needed
• Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccination (personal or religious declinations not accepted)
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
