Description
Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Odessa, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements

High-Level PCU / ICU RN — Odessa, TX
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; 4 × 12-hour shifts
- Unit: Newly opened PCU / universal suite supporting MS/Tele, PCU, and critical-care patients
- Location: Odessa, TX
- Experience: Minimum 2 years; prior travel experience required
- Charting: Cerner required
- Patient Ratio: 1:4 in PCU; may float to Critical Care at 1:2–3 or MS/Tele at 1:5–6
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: Yes, based on census
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- TCAR or TNCC — must be obtained within 30 days of starting if not currently held
Key Experience Needed:
- High-acuity PCU or ICU nursing experience
- Telemetry and dysrhythmia management
- Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
- Ventilator, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy, chest tube, and arterial-line management
- Central/PICC line care, IV therapy, blood products, heparin, insulin drips, and wound care
- Stroke/CVA, post-TPA, cardiac intervention, TAVR, post-MI, renal failure, and pre/post-hemodialysis care
