Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in San Diego, CA, requiring active CA RN licensure.

Details

  • Intensive Care Unit setting
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

  • Active CA Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ICU experience within the last 3 years required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Dialysis or SLED experience preferred
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel positions
  • Licenses and certifications must be active (not pending) for consideration
  • Returning contingent workers must take 90 days off after reaching the 2-year tenure limit
  • Permanent staff must be separated from employment for 6 months before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
