Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a critical care unit position requiring 2+ years of ICU/CCU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

  • Critical Care unit in a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac patients
  • Acutely ill patients requiring Q1H or more frequent monitoring, assessment, and interventions
  • Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week (48 hrs/week)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required (MA Temp License accepted)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients requiring frequent monitoring and intervention
  • Blue scrubs recommended though no specific color is required
  • Medical and religious COVID exemptions accepted if included at time of consideration
  • RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles of the facility
  • Previous permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers at this facility
