Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Critical Care unit requiring 2 years of ICU/CCU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Critical Care unit of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac patients requiring Q1H or more frequent monitoring and intervention
  • Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required (temporary license accepted)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients requiring frequent monitoring and interventions
  • Blue scrubs recommended, though no strict color requirement
  • Medical and religious COVID exemptions accepted if included in candidate documentation
  • No more than 7 days of RTO allowed during the assignment
  • Returning staff who were previously permanent employees at the facility are not eligible to work as travelers
  • Local candidates accepted within 50 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
