Job Details:
**Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum 2 years of RN experience required in ICU settings. - Skills in Conscious sedation, Telemetry, Vents. **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience is preferred. **Certifications Required:** - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Certifications Preferred:** - CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) **Licensure:** - West Virginia (WV) or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission. **Travel Experience:** - Not required. **Submission Requirements:** - Minimum 2 Manager/Charge references within the past 2 years. - RN License verification pulled within 2 days of submission date. - COVID-19 Vaccine status must be included in the submittal packet. - Copy of all required certifications included in the submittal packet. **Patient Care Details:** - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics. - Daily Census: Average 0.2 patient per day. **Charting System:** - Experience with CPSI and CERNER preferred. **Additional Information:** - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from the last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if required by the unit) must be through the American Heart Association (AHA). - Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility; those between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. - Modules required, average completion time: 2-6 hours, completed prior to start date.
