Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure along with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
Details
- Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 1900-0730, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
Requirements
- Active WA State or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
Additional Information
- Coordinate and provide high quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
- Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
- Evaluate discharge plans and adjust based on patient needs
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses accurately
- Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
- Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information
- Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Collaborate with the full healthcare team to maintain safe, high-quality care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies
