Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a critical care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling complex cases, including respiratory failure, post-surgical care, wound care, and cardiac patients. This ICU position requires strong skills in PEG tube care, tracheostomy management, and titrating various drips.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care in the ICU
  • Manage sedated and ventilated patients
  • Titrate vasopressors, sedation, and pain control drips
  • Interact with Philips telemetry monitors
  • Troubleshoot RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL RN license or application in process
  • Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
  • Experience in PEG tube care, CVC/PICC/Midline usage
  • Skills with tracheostomy patients and titrating drips

Benefits

  • Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours
  • OSF Call Off Policy: 12 hours every 13 weeks without penalty
  • Guaranteed pay does not apply during orientation

PEL/VIP Job ID #63982543. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
