Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring MA licensure and critical care skills such as ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.

Details

  • ICU unit within a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Float required to PACU, step down, and ED for holding patients
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required (can apply at time of offer for temp and perm)
  • BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • 2-3 years of related ICU work experience required
  • Skills required in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management
  • Post-STEMI care experience required
  • CCRN certification preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including post-STEMI care
  • Must pass ECG/telemetry and medications tests on day one of orientation
  • No more than one holiday off request and no more than 3 days RTO permitted
  • Must live within 50 miles of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
  • Returning employees must observe a 6-month break between any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility assignments
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
