Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of continuous Adult ICU experience, preferably in a MICU
• Ability to read telemetry strips and demonstrate telemetry competency
• Experience floating to Medical/Surgical units as needed
• Strong critical thinking skills and comfort working with high-acuity adult patients
• Prior experience with EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for adult ICU patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, GI bleed, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Interpret telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with attendings, residents, and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Float to Medical/Surgical areas as needed while maintaining safe, high-quality care
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and follow established ICU protocols
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and a patient-first approach throughout the assignment
