• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370

• Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated
• Floating: Required, primarily to medical/surgical units

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of continuous adult ICU experience, preferably in a MICU setting
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Telemetry competency required
• Experience caring for high-acuity adult critical care patients
• Strong adaptability and comfort floating to med-surg areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Collaborate with attendings, residents, and interdisciplinary team members available in the ICU 24/7
• Care for patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, DKA, GI bleed, renal failure, overdose, and cardiogenic shock
• Maintain safe, effective patient care while working in both ICU and floated medical-surgical environments
• Document care accurately in EPIC and follow unit protocols and clinical standards
• Support teamwork, patient safety, and exceptional critical care outcomes
