ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience in an ICU or critical-care setting
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• TNCC certification
• PALS certification preferred
• Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends

Travel ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients with complex and high-risk conditions
• Perform continuous patient monitoring, focused assessments, and timely clinical interventions
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the critical-care experience
