Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring an IA or compact license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

  • Work in the ICU of a Level 3 Trauma Center hospital
  • Treats cardiac, trauma, and neuro patient populations
  • Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 36 hours/week
  • Required to work every third weekend
  • No on-call requirements
  • May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IA or compact)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
  • 2+ years of ICU experience required
  • PALS and TNCC certifications preferred, with TNCC required if assignment is extended
  • Supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required
  • Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may be restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH markets
  • Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
  • Limited time-off requests permitted during holiday blackout periods
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
