Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a rotating weekend shift requiring MN licensure and prior critical care and travel experience.

Details

  • Work in the ICU with regular floating to Med Surg required
  • Adult patient population
  • Rotating 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) with a 36-hour guarantee
  • Every weekend work required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MN RN license required (compact license not accepted)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 2 years of Critical Care/ICU experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Med Surg and Telemetry trained
  • Able to perform IV insertions
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to specialty
  • Two supervisory references with employment dates required

Additional Information

  • Provide compassionate, customer and family-focused nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Accountable for quality of nursing services delivered and adherence to professional nursing practice standards
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
  • Prior work history with the health system must be listed on resume if applicable
  • All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and may not be honored after submittal
  • Temporary MN nursing license accepted if candidate has applied for permanent licensure and holds the temporary license at time of submittal
