Registered Nurse - ICU | Travel | Grafton, WI

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a facility in Grafton, WI. The ideal candidate will have a background in critical care, adept in treating diverse patient types including those with sepsis, GI bleeds, and post-surgical cases. The position requires adaptability and a collaborative spirit.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: Not provided
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Night shifts (19:00-07:30)
  • Assignment Length: Not provided
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
  • Number of Openings: Not provided
  • Charting System: EPIC - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage ventilators and tracheostomies
  • Handle invasive lines including arterial lines, CVP, and Swanz catheters
  • Oversee drains, chest tubes, and Foley catheters
  • Assist in post-surgical recovery and post-cath procedures
  • Coordinate continuous renal replacement therapy (CVVH, CRRT)

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3 years of ICU experience
  • Valid RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred:

  • Cardiovascular and CV surgery experience
  • Experience with IABPs, Impellas
  • NIHSS certification
