Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Medical-Surgical ICU night shift position, with a strong critical care background required.

Details

• Work in the Medical-Surgical ICU (MSICU) unit
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 17-week assignment length
• Candidates with strong critical care backgrounds accepted even without open heart experience, with appropriate assignment adjustments made

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Strong critical care background required
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start, with NURSYS verification for RNs where available

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing care within the MSICU setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be American Heart Association issued with front and back images of the card provided
• California candidates must also provide a picture of the hard copy RN license
• Local candidates accepted only in specific states (CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, PA), with certain facility exceptions not accepting local candidates
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations, with some facilities having 50, 75, or 90-mile rules
• No local rates offered for CST candidates in any state
