Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care Float Pool day shift position requiring an active NY RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Critical Care Float Pool unit
  • Day shift schedule
  • No blocked scheduling permitted
  • Floating across ICU units, including MICU, Neuro, and SICU

Requirements

  • Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or specialty-specific experience required
  • BLS/ACLS certification from AHA or RQI required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Must pass ICU competency testing (2 attempts allowed)
  • Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the last year (charge nurse references not accepted)
  • No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Local candidates residing within Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
  • Facility only accepts medical exemptions for flu vaccination, signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions not accepted
  • More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
  • Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
