Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN or specialty critical care experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to care for critically ill patients and titrate drips as needed
- Comfortable floating as assigned within specialty areas and facilities
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry and monitor data in critical care settings
- Professional, adaptable, and prepared to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients in a float pool setting
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to critical care needs
- Administer medications and titrate drips according to unit protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to deliver safe patient care
- Interpret telemetry and monitor data as part of critical care nursing responsibilities
- Float to assigned units or facilities as needed while maintaining specialty-level care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EPIC
- Maintain professionalism and flexibility in a rotating, high-acuity environment
