Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intensive Care Coronary unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of ICU experience.

Details

  • Intensive Care Coronary unit within a hospital setting
  • Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week, 0700-1930
  • Weekend shifts required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Epic EMR used for clinical documentation
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

Requirements

  • Active RN license, single state or compact, required (CO or compact license needed)
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications must not expire prior to start)
  • ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Date of birth and last four digits of SSN required for consideration
  • No pending license accepted

Additional Information

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties according to state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
  • Conduct health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic interventions
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
  • Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
  • RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
