Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring at least one year of ICU experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT state license or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, along with ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while documenting according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic support to patients and their care teams
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Certifications must be current and not expiring before the assignment start date
