ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse with a focus on neuro and stroke care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, have experience with EPIC charting, and be prepared to work in a dynamic environment with rotating day and night shifts.

Scheduling Details

36 hours per week
Rotating Day/Nights
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage as needed

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of strong ICU experience, specifically in neuro and stroke care
Experience with EPIC Charting
Passed EKG test

Patient Care Ratio

The patient care ratio will typically be 1:2, with occasions requiring a 1:3 ratio.

Licensure and Certification Requirements

Current Illinois RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
NIHSS Certification

Floating Requirements

Candidates must be flexible to float to other units and potentially to other facilities within the region, including Skokie, Highland Park, and Glenbrook.
