Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 18 months of ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• MSICU unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to ED, Observation, and Med-Surg units
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former Emory or Houston Methodist perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday time off request is allowed per assignment
