Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare provider in New Haven, CT, is looking for an RN - ICU to start right away. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and state-of-the-art facility in a vibrant city known for its rich history and culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
• Manage airway and IV drips for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Float between ICU and step-down units as required to meet facility needs.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and manage dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or related field.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
