Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU/Med-Surg RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring an active ND or compact RN license and prior ICU experience.

Details

• Acute care setting within a combined ICU/Med-Surg unit
• Performs dressing changes, ventilator management, and IV starts
• Uses EPIC for charting and Omnicell for medication administration
• Also utilizes Space Labs monitoring equipment
• 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation
• Weekend rotation generally every third weekend
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active ND or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• 1-3+ years of RN experience required, with 2 years preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Social Security Number required for consideration
• Proof of 2019 flu shot required for consideration

• Completion of required training modules before starting the assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation, during which guaranteed hours do not apply
