Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• Three 12-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Every other weekend required per unit need

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
• Supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Serves as a mentor and preceptor to staff
• Facilitates patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
• Participates in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
• Complies with regulatory standards and practice governance model
