Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 1 year of professional nursing experience required
  • Critical care, ICU, PCU, telemetry, or stepdown experience preferred
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • TCAR or TNCC required; may be allowed pending with completion within the allotted timeframe
  • Cerner experience preferred
  • Strong experience managing patients with cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and metabolic conditions
  • Ability to work in a high-acuity, team-oriented critical care environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality care to ICU and PCU patients in a versatile critical care setting
  • Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as Afib RVR, COPD/asthma exacerbations, DKA, renal failure, post-PCI, and post-TAVR
  • Care for patients requiring continuous bedside monitoring, arterial line management, and high-flow oxygen support
  • Support ventilated patients and assist with escalation of care when needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response resources
  • Float as needed to critical care or med-surg/tele areas based on census and patient needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
