**SEASONAL TRAVEL RN ICU - 13 WEEKS** **Job Description:** - Seasonal Travel RN position in the ICU with a day shift schedule (7:00AM - 7:00PM) - Engage in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on patient-centered care - Work with a mixed patient population in an open ICU setting **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 8 - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1 - **Unit Staffing:** Goal staffing of 4 RNs 24/7 - **Type of Equipment:** GE B650 cardiac monitors, vents, Gaymar cooling - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Scheduling:** Self-scheduling encouraged, every-other-weekend coverage - **Floating Policy:** ICU may float to critical care or intermediate care as needed **Patient Experience Focus:** - AIDET validation during orientation - Emphasis on effective nurse communication - Regular use of white boards and hourly rounding - Bedside care conferences for patient handoff **Hiring Profile:** - **Required Skills:** - Medical and Surgical ICU experience - ACLS and BLS certifications - **Preferred Skills:** - AIBP experience - CCRN certification - **Procedures Involved:** - Ventilator care - Therapeutic hypothermia - PCI/STEMI - IABP management - Invasive hemodynamic monitoring - TEE/cardioversion - Temporary pacing - Treatment of sepsis, stroke/TPA, and DKA - ICU RNs act as responders for Code Blue and Rapid Response Team **Dress Code:** - Professional scrubs and appearance at all times **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
