**Exciting Opportunity for RN ICU Traveler in Beautiful Portsmouth, NH!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Duration:** 13 weeks - **Unit Specifics:** - 25-bed ICU unit - Patient Ratios: 2:1 - Equipped with GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipaps, Puritan Ventilators, and Hemospheres - Meditech Expanse documentation system - **Staffing Support:** - Around-the-clock mid-levels, trauma surgeons, and respiratory therapists - PT/OT available during the day shift - No LNAs or PCTs - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Complete 12 shifts per month (3 shifts per week) - 4 weekend shifts per month - Schedule created around requested time off (RTO) - **Floating Policy:** - Travelers float first on a rotation basis - **Patient Experience:** - MyCare boards updated each shift during bedside report - Bedside shift report conducted at each change of shift - **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - BLS - **Requested Skill Set:** - Strong telemetry skills - Experience with titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications - Chest tube experience - Past ICU experience - **Preferred Skills (considered first):** - Open heart experience - Temporary pacing - Swan-Ganz Catheter experience - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Intubation - Central line and arterial line placement - Chest tube placement - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs (color does not matter) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
